mattress borders

Each handmade Somnus mattress, dependent on the model, is finished with either two, three or four rows of hand sewn or side stitched borders. This process is carried out by highly skilled craftsmen to positively connect the mattress border to The Sensa Pocket Plus springs, creating an unsurpassed level of mattress integrity and edge to edge sleeping comfort.

zip and link multi purpose option

Each Somnus bed may be made as two single mattresses, with either regular support or firmer support spring tensions to suit the sleepers individual requirements. The beds are easily zipped together or may be separated for use as single beds or choose this option for easy installation where access is limited.

EdgeGuard base

The specially designed EdgeGuard technically advanced sprung edge base system works in harmony with each Somnus mattress to provide a unique combination of comfort and edge to edge support.

storage options

Where practicality is important drawer options may be specified when selecting the traditional deeper base for your Somnus sleep system. Each drawer is built to last, using solid hardwood, dovetail jointed for strength and fitted by hand on metal runners for durability.

base, legs and castors

Choose from the discrete elegance of the shallower base with stylish colour co-ordinated legs for the contemporary look. Or, the smooth running metal castors, engineered for durability on the traditional deeper base.
